Dale Devon Schrock

Dale Devon Schrock, 56, of Goshen, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, April 13, 2011, in a farm field close to Fiber By-Products Corporation, White Pigeon, Michigan. He was born in Goshen on June 18, 1954 to Erie and Pauline (Herschberger) Schrock of New Paris.  He married Barbara Bechtel on June 21, 1974 in Middlebury.  She survives. Also surviving are four sons, Ryan D. (Katrina) Schrock, Bradley A. (Marsha) Schrock, Cory M. (Rosalee) Schrock, and Chad A. (Lori) Schrock, all of Goshen; 11 grandchildren, Destiny, Nikolaus, Connor, Bryce, Morgan, Brett, Ava, Carly, Lily, Anthony and Colin; three sisters, Linda (Mark) Martin and Elsie (Dale) Swartzentruber, both of Nappanee, and Donnabelle (Alan) Jones of Shipshewana; and two brothers, Omer (Treva) Schrock and John (Judy) Schrock, both of New Paris. He was preceded by a sister, Rita Joann Schrock. A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Schrock was founder and owner of Fiber By-Products and Coppercoin Transport, Inc.  He attended Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church and was a supporter of Clinton Christian School where he served on the board.  He was a collector of antique tractors and implements and toy farm equipment. He had a strong love and devotion for his family and grandchildren.  He shared his faith in God with his family and others. Friends may call 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 15, and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Saturday, April 16 at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church where a 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 17, 2011, funeral service will be conducted.  Pastors Bill Richardson and Russ Hunsberger will officiate. Burial will follow in Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Clinton Christian School.
