Dale I. Schlabach, 81, of Middlebury, died Monday, August 3, 2020, at Elkhart Hospital.
He was born February 2, 1939 in Goshen to Ezra and Vivian M. (Johns) Schlabach.
On August 13, 1966 he married Vivian E. Crilow in Millersburg, Ohio.
She survives along with two children, Tami J. Schlabach of Topeka and Ricki B. Schlabach of Whites Creek, Tennessee; two sisters, Ruth Shaum and Arleta (Phillip) Kilmer, and two brothers, Dorvin D. (Ruth) Schlabach and Theron F. Schlabach, all of Goshen.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Eudean Broni and J. Richard Schlabach.
A lifetime area resident, Mr. Schlabach was an active member of First Mennonite Church of Middlebury and sang with Evergreen Singers of Greencroft. He worked in maintenance at Elkhart Hospital.
Private services will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be given to Maranatha Sunday School Class at First Mennonite Church of Middlebury.
