Dale R. Kline, 76, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014, morning at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born July 25, 1937 in Elkhart County to Haskle, Sr. and Eva (Cripe) Kline. On May 31, 1963 he married Wava M. Shipbaugh in Mt. Etna. She died August 30, 2006. He is survived by a daughter, Kristine (Mark) Darby of Freehold, New Jersey; two sons, Rich (Patty) Kline of Churubusco and Jeffery Kline of Elkhart; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Murdock and Marjorie Horn, both of Goshen and Pearl Overholser of Bristol; and two brothers, George Kline of Elkhart and Robert Kline of Bristol. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers, Max and Haskle, Jr. Kline. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1961. A lifelong area resident, Mr. Kline founded, owned and operated Kline's Trucking Company. He retired from A.B.T. Co. after 21 years as an extruder operator. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He attended Rock Run Church of the Brethren and later the Little Pine Church of the Brethren. Friends may call Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from 12 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Juan Sanchez, King's Chapel Assembly, Fort Wayne, will officiate. Burial will follow in Rock Run Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Kidney Fund.
