Dale Ray Huber, 82, of Peachtree, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2022.
Dale was born February 17, 1940 in Goshen to Frank and Edith (Hoover) Huber.
Surviving is his wife, Doris (Stump) Huber; a son, Gregory (Rebeccah) Huber; a daughter, Kimberly (Doug) Miller, all of Peachtree City, Georgia; five grandchildren, Arron (Jen) Cloud, Adam Finegan, Chase (Lindsey) Miller, Skylar Miller and Spencer Miller; three great-grandchildren and a brother, David (Maria) Huber of Goshen.
Dale graduated from Wakarusa High School in 1958. He married Doris Stump on February 2, 1962. After spending two years in Brethren Volunteer Service, they returned to Elkhart where he began his career in tool and die. He retired from Superior Tool & Die in 2001 after 33 years. Dale enjoyed Concord sports, taking care of his lawn and attending church at Yellow Creek Church of Brethren. Dale and Doris moved to Peachtree, Georgia in 2007. After his retirement he enjoyed beach trips to Destin, Florida, watching his grandsons play ball, attending North Fayette United Methodist Church and taking golf cart rides exploring Peachtree City. Dale was a faithful Christian, devoted husband and father and an avid sports fan, especially his Baltimore Orioles.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main Street, Goshen. A 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 5 funeral will be held at Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren, 65575 C.R. 11, Goshen. Burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Yellow Creek Church of Brethren or Hospice Care Services.
