Dale R. Branson, 87, of Goshen, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital.
He was born December 2, 1928 in Elkhart.
On February 10, 1951 he married Caralee Joan Baumgarten in Goshen. She died October 4, 2013.
He is survived by two sons, Michael John (Susi) Branson of Cosby, Tennessee and Thomas Alan (Jamie) Branson of Burton, Michigan; a granddaughter, Tiffani (Andy) James, three great-grandchildren, Camryn Branson, Maddie James and Chad Heflin; and a brother, Lamar (Wilma) Branson of Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ada (Wareham) Eddy; his wife; two brothers, Steven C. Eddy and Paul Branson and a sister, Avadell Torres.
An Army veteran and a lifetime area resident, Mr. Branson retired as a foreman at Goshen Rubber after more than 30 years of service. He also owned and operated Branson Sign Shop.
Friends may call Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 12 p.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor John Hickey will officiate.
Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Hospital.
