Curtis Junior Carter

Curtis Junior Carter, 55, of Goshen, died early Friday morning, October 12, 2007, at his home following an extended illness. He was born in Connersville, Indiana, on November 25, 1951, to Curtis and Thelma (Anthony) Carter.  He married Kris Myers in 1976 and then Sandra (Hodge) Thompson on October 16, 1989 in Goshen.  She survives. A resident of the area since the early 1970’s, Mr. Carter worked as a utility maintenance worker at Goshen Rubber for 26 years. He attended Grace Community Church and enjoyed tinkering with cars. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two daughters, Elizabeth “Angel” (Larry) Crist of Goshen and Kirtina “Tina” (Michael) Graber of Millersburg; a son, Randale Lee (Tonia) Thompson II of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; eight grandchildren; a sister, Kathy (Earl) Smothers and a brother, Larry (Virginia) Carter, both of Goshen. Friends may call 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, October 14, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Jeremiah Olson of Grace Community Church, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Care at Home Hospice
