Craig A. Coffman

April 3, 1974 — June 25, 2022

Craig A. Coffman, 48, of Goshen, died Saturday, June 25, 2022, from complications due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident.

He was born April 3, 1974, in Goshen to Ken and Kathy (Sorg) Coffman

On September 15, 2001, He married Leslie E. Coffman in Elkhart. She preceded him in death June 11, 2022.

He leaves behind two daughters, Anna S. Coffman, and Lillian L. Coffman, both of Goshen; his parents, and brother, Dustin L. Coffman, all of Goshen; two grandmothers, Genevieve “Sally” (Pergrum) Coffman of Goshen, and Kenlyn K. “Woody” (Sorg) Haack; his in-laws, Roy and Leticia “Letty” (Ponce) Rhodes, a brother-in-law, Michel R. Rhodes, and a grandfather, Gilbert Rhodes, all of Goshen.

Craig attended four years of college at Anderson University in Anderson Indiana and worked as a salesman at Kuert Outdoor Living. He Loved spending time with his children and wife of 21 years. He loved spending time with those people more than anything, but was often found watching baseball, specifically the Yankees, reading from his very large collection of books, hiking, canoeing, kayaking backpacking, and exercising his two German Shepherds with his wife and kids. He enjoyed making sarcastic jokes and jump scaring people at random times, both he and Leslie had smiles and hearts that lit up a room when they entered. The only time he wasn’t smiling, or cracking jokes was when he battled with rheumatoid arthritis. He often had a heavy heart for those less fortunate than him. So much so that he wished to give parts of his body in donation to science (to those in need) after his passing however due to the extent of his injuries he could not do so. He was a faithful attendee of Wakarusa Missionary Church, where he was active in their small group.

The visitation and memorial service will be held for both Leslie and Craig together. Visitation will be on, Thursday June 30, 2022 , from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm EST and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Their memorial service will take place on Friday, July 1, at 2:00 pm at Wakarusa Missionary Church. Officiated by Reverend Chris Knight. A live feed will be available.
