Connie Wilson, 74, of Ligonier, formerly of Albion, died Monday, August 26, 2024 at the home of her daughter, Patricia.

She was born December 16, 1949 in West Virginia.

On October 16, 1976 she married Richard Lee Wilson in Goshen. He died in December 2023.

She is survived by three children, Patricia Lynn Colvin of Ligonier, Randall Wilson of Indiana and Fred (Ericka) Wilson of Darien, Georgia; daughter in law, Jennifer Wilson of Gas City; 11 grandchildren, Zack Terry, Isaiah Terry, Elisha Terry, Shay Sullivan, Brandon Savage, Jazmyn Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Shaneese Wilson, Katie Wilson, Jacob Wilson and Maria Wilson; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Randall (Beverly) Lawrence, West Virginia.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Homer Lawrence Jr.; mother, Ileane (Christy) Anglemeyer; sons, John Paul Wilson and Richard Wilson II; and sisters, Catherine Milam and Mary Buzzard.

Connie spent time working as a paraprofessional with special needs students at Fairfield Schools. She attended Full Gospel Community Church, New Paris where she was active in teaching adult and children’s Sunday school classes. She also led the Missionettes and sponsored many activities at church.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Fred Curry will officiate.

Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
