Coe Kramer, Jr.

Coe Kramer, Jr., 93, of Goshen, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 8, 2017 at Greencroft Health care.

He was born August 21, 1923 in Goshen to Myron C. and Edith I. (Lippincott) Kramer.

On July 20, 1979 he married Dottie (Guthrie) Pierson, at the Plymouth United Church of Christ.

She survives along with two step-children, Angie (Ed) Geideman of Niles, Michigan and Steve (Jamie) Pierson of Elkhart; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A lifetime Goshen resident, Mr. Kramer graduated from Indiana University with a degree in chemistry.

Mr. Kramer worked as a chemist for Goshen Rubber, Western Rubber and as chief chemist, part owner and vice president of T & M Rubber.

He was a member of Rock Run Church of the Brethren.  For three years they lived in an ocean front home in Salter Path, North Carolina.  He was a devoted Cubs fan and a big animal lover.

A private family service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral with burial to follow at Violett Cemetery.  Pastor Tim Waits, Rock Run Church of the Brethren, will officiate.
