Clinton F. Rumble, Jr.

Clinton F. Rumble, Jr., 69, of New Paris, died Tuesday evening, November 13, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital where he had been a patient just two days. He was born in Syracuse, New York, on January 9, 1938, to Clinton and Florence (Saunders) Rumble, Sr. He married Balynda “Lynda” Melvin on October 11, 1958, in North Syracuse, New York.  She survives. Mr. Rumble moved to the area in 1976 and had worked at Coachman Industries for more than 28 years, most recently as President of Viking Recreational Vehicles, retiring in 2004.  He was the last Tent-Camper salesman for the company. He is survived by his wife, Lynda; two sons, Steven D. (Jill) Rumble of Elkhart and Phillip A. Rumble of New Paris; five grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Hollister of West Palm Beach, Florida. Per Mr. Rumble’s request there will be no public services. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.
