Clifford C. Prough

Clifford C. Prough, 84, died Friday evening, October 29, 2010, in a single car accident in Goshen. He was born February 13, 1926, in Goshen, to the late Harvey and Beulah (Wigant) Prough.  He married Kathryn M. Miller August 25, 1956, in Three Rivers, Michigan.  She survives. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Genevieve Thompson and a brother, Lester Prough. A World War II navy veteran, Mr. Prough was a member of First Baptist Church, Goshen; the VFW and DAV.  He was an active member of the VFW funeral honor guard.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling and gardening. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 1, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2010, funeral service with military honors will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greencroft Endowment Foundation or the Goshen VFW.
