Clifford J. Maust, 74, Goshen, died Friday evening, March 19, 2010, at his home. He had been ill since June with mesothelioma. He was born in Pigeon, Michigan, on May 26, 1935 to the late Paul and Esther (Weldy) Maust.  He married Dorothy June Graber on March 25, 1955 in Nappanee at the North Main Street Mennonite Church. She survives. Also surviving are four children, Gary (Linda) Maust and Donna (Kevin) Graber, both of Goshen, Grant (Diane) Maust of Bristol, Crystal (Darryl) Graber of Goshen;  ten grandchildren, Shane (Lindy) Maust, Brandon (Brooke) Maust, Brock (Lindsay) Maust, Aaron (Sarah) Graber, Anthony Graber, Nickolas, Alisha and Ericka Maust and Amber and April Graber; 14 great-grandchildren;  ten siblings, Dwight Maust of Washington, Indiana, Iva Petes of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Marilyn (Ed) Slaubaugh  Wolford of North  Dakota, Norman (Wilmetta) Maust, Elmer (Eunice) Maust, Thelma (Dwaine) Swartzentruber, all of Goshen, Opal (Roger) Waugh of Phoenix, Arizona, Orpha Swartzentruber of Washington, Indiana, Paul (Carol) Maust of Elkhart, and Galen (Sharon) Maust of Leo, Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Donna (Vernon)  Gingerich, Sarasota, Florida. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Maust; two brothers-in-law, Curt Swartzendruber and Donnie Petes; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Maust. Mr. Maust worked at Elkhart General Hospital and then as a self employed contractor at Hershberger and Maust.  He then worked at ITS, C & P Products, and Travel Craft, all of Elkhart, before working for his son, Gary, at Dalin Construction and Remodeling.  A member of Tri Lakes Community Church, Bristol, he loved to hunt mushrooms and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Friends may call 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service at the church. A 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, Goshen, with Rev. Dale Stoll, retired pastor, and Rev. Dave Hickman of Tri Lakes Community Church officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Goshen.  Memorial contributions may be made to Tri Lakes Youth Fund.
