Claude B. Shaw

Claude Burton Shaw, 61, of Middlebury, died early Friday morning, November 19, 2010, at Goshen General Hospital. He had been ill since March. He was born in Elkhart on December 13, 1948, to the late Vernon Shaw and June (Lovett) Shaw of Middlebury.  He married Jacqueline Huser on January 8, 1972, in Elkhart.  She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Candie (Scott) Yoder of Syracuse and Rebecca (Shawn) McQueen of South Bend; a son, Samuel (Anita) Shaw of Goshen; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; a granddaughter, Jenee Farrel; and a brother Donald Shaw. A lifetime resident of the area, he had worked for Goshen Sash and Door for 34 years and had also worked at Syndicate. Friends may call  2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, November 22, at the funeral home. A 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
