Clarence Ray Yoder, 83, of Jones, Michigan, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at home.

He was born November 11, 1937 in Plain City, Ohio to Andrew and Katie (Schrock) Yoder.

He is survived by special friend and caregiver, Pat Konneck of Jones, Michigan; a son, Gary Yoder of Goshen; two daughters, Dawn (Jim) Krezel of Ohio and Kelly (Sam) Workman of Elkhart; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mary Margaret Yoder of Millersburg, Ohio and Esther Thomas and Vera Troyer, both of Goshen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Verna Rutledge, Susie Keim and Clara Mae Yoder.

Mr. Yoder had his own home remodeling company, CRY Construction.  Prior to that he worked at Goshen Rubber.

In 1956 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was part of the 101st US Airborne.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Elkhart and Goshen DAV.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and collected die cast trucks.

He adored his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, January 4, 2021, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service.  Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate.

Burial will follow in Miller 8 Square, Goshen.

Memorial donations may be given to Goshen DAV.
