(Smith) Heverin. She married Leroy A. Cox, August 18, 2003 in Oxford, Pennsylvania. He survives along with a son, Robert Lee (Jennifer Ann) Simpler, of Mountain City, Tennessee.; four step-daughters, Dawn Smith, of Newark, Delaware., Marney Cox, of Mountain City, Tennessee., Tammey Cox, of Houston, Texas; and Roxanne Lorine, of Georgia.; two step-sons, Matthew Thomas, of Mountain City, Tennessee, and Matthew Brooks, of Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren, Crystal, Amber, Tiffany, Brittany, Carmilita, Amanda, Glen, Robby, Skylar, Jordan, Brittany, Jessica, Nicole, and Aaron; four great-grandchildren, Dunner, McKenzi, Jasmon, and Jeremiah; and two brothers, Richard and Jim Heverin, both of Wilmington, Delaware. Clara had an exceptional fondness for animals, especially horses. For much of her life she raised riding horses at her stables in Oxford, Pa. More recently, with her husband, she was raising and training AKC boxer and chihuahua dogs. They were recognized among other breeders as raising animals at the top of their breed. Clara was very exacting in her work following and developing pure pedigree boxer breeds. She had an enormous heart which was given to her husband, family and the animals she so devotedly raised. She was a great mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful wife and the best friend a man could ask for. May God keep her in His hands and bless her for the life she led and the person she was. No public services are planned at this time. Cremation has taken place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
