Clara Blucker, 89, of Goshen, died Saturday evening, February 9, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital where she had been since Thursday. She was born November 19, 1918, in Bloomfield, Montana, to Francis and Magdelena (Wagler) Miller, Sr. She married Ervin Blucker on February 21, 1942 in Fentress, Virginia. He died December 2, 1981. A homemaker, Mrs. Blucker moved to Goshen in 1948. She was a member of North Goshen Mennonite Church where she was part of the Mennonite Women’s Group. She also volunteered at the World Missionary Press. She is survived by a daughter, Diann (Chuck) Grise of Goshen; two sons, Vernon (Elaine) Blucker and Dan (Carol) Blucker, both of Goshen; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a sister, Ruth Leatherman of Goshen; and two brothers, Phil Miller and Francis Miller, Jr., both of Chesapeake, Virginia. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Miller, Agnes Leatherman, Leona Miller and Vera Troyer; and three brothers, Abner, Joseph and Roy Miller. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 12, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2008, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Associate Pastor José Elizalde of North Goshen Mennonite Church will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
