Christopher C. L. Chrisman

Christopher C. L. Chrisman, 43, of Goshen, died Thursday morning, December 29, 2005, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.  He suffered a work related accident on December 19.   He was born in Goshen on August 28, 1962, to Carroll and Monna (Dorsett) Chrisman.  On August 26, 1989, in Goshen he married Lisa J. Stoner.  She survives.   He was a member of the Solomon Creek United Methodist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees.  He was also a member of the Sons of American Legion.    Mr. Chrisman was a foreman for Ancon Construction Company, Goshen, where he had worked for 17 years.  He was a 1980 Goshen High School graduate.   He did woodworking and had built the family home on CR 26.  He loved Corvettes.   He is survived by his wife, Lisa; a daughter, Chelsea 11, and a Clayton, 9, both at home.  He is also survived by his parents, Carroll and Monna Chrisman and a sister, Hillary Chrisman, all of Goshen.   Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, January 1, at the funeral home.   A 10:00 a.m. funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home on Monday, January 2, 2006.  Pastor Carldean Marrifield of the Solomon Creek United Methodist Church, Syracuse, will officiate.   Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.   Memorial contributions may be given to an education fund for his children in lieu of flowers.
