Christine Lucille Neterer

Christine Lucille Neterer, 86, of Goshen, died Monday morning, September 18, 2006, at Greencroft Gables. She was born June 21, 1920, in Goshen, Indiana, to Noble and Florence L. (Cripe) Neterer.  She graduated from Goshen High School in 1938.   A lifetime member of the First Brethren Church, Goshen, she worked at Miles Lab for 41 ½ years, retiring January 1, 1987.  She was a member of the Senior Saints at the church, and the Quarter Century Club.   She enjoyed crocheting, reading and word searches.   She is survived by three nieces, Marilyn Humbarger of Bristol, Deb (Greg) Pollock of Goshen, and Judy (Don) Harrell of Tallahassee, Florida; seven great-nieces and nephews; four great-great-nieces and nephews; and a sister, Helen L. Struble of Goshen.    She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Neterer during World War II and a niece Janet Healey in 2004.   Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Wednesday, September 20, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A 10:00 a.m. funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, September 21, 2006, at the funeral home.  Rev. John Drexler and John Howenstine of the First Brethren Church will officiate.   Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorials may be given to the First Brethren Church, Goshen.
