Christa A. Mueller

Christa A. Mueller, 79, died early Monday morning, February 15, 2010 at the Maples, Goshen where she had been battling cancer for the last 5 months.  She has been a Goshen resident since 1957 when she moved from Germany.    She was born on September 30, 1930, in Stettin, Germany, to the late Karl and Agathe (Strutz) Krueger.  She married Klaus Petro Mueller on October 26, 1951, in Germany.  He preceded her in death on July 9, 2006.  A homemaker, Mrs. Mueller attended West Goshen Church of the Brethren.  She is survived by two daughters, Angelika (Bill Wilson) Mueller, South Bend, Kristina M. (Scott) Miller, Goshen; three sons, Arndt (Rhonda) Mueller, Marion, Joerg (Jill) Mueller, Goshen, Klaus D. (Jennifer) Mueller, New Paris; two sisters, Heidi (Uwe) Otto, Kiel, Germany, Karla Krueger, Kiel, Germany; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Mueller’s body will be cremated.  Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2010 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  A private family memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family; Rev. Norm Replogle of the West Goshen Church of the Brethren will officiate.  Memorials may be made out to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
