Cheryl L. (Bailey) Scheidt, 79, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at Healthwin Specialized Care Facility, South Bend.
She was born January 24, 1944 in Elkhart, to Robert and Wilma (Klingler) Bailey.
On November 13, 1976, she married Henry Scheidt in Goshen at the Plymouth United Church of Christ.
He survives along with two daughters, Azure Scheidt of Elkhart and Kristin (Anthony) Hill of Franklin, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Avery and Courtney Hill; and three siblings, Peggy Davis of Durham, North Carolina, Linda (Estel) Silcox of Jefferson City, Tennessee and David (Laura) Bailey of Middlebury.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Glotzback and a brother-in-law, Bill Davis.
Cheryl worked at Bayer Pharmaceutical for 24 years putting together glucometers.
