Cherry Lee Troyer, 61, of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, April 21, 2007, at Hospice House, South Bend. She was born in Wolf Lake, Indiana, on January 4, 1946, to Leo and Ilene (Pippenger) Owen. She married Marc Troyer in Goshen on July 1, 1989. He survives. Mrs. Troyer worked at Elkhart GeneralHospital in housekeeping and had also worked at NIBCO in production for eight years. She enjoyed bird watching and growing flowers. She is survived by her husband, Marc; two daughters, Amy Stringfellow of Goshen and Lori (Kent) Cunningham of Ligonier; two grandchildren, Trystan and Rachel Stringfellow; a brother, Jerry (Angie) Owen of Kimmel, Indiana; and a twin sister, Cheryl (Thom) Bailey of Goshen. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Maloney, on August 27, 1983. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 23, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, at the funeral home A 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2007, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Edward Arnold of The Chapel will officiate. Burial will be in SpartaCemetery, Kimmel. Memorial contributions may be made to Center for Hospice and Palliative Care Inc.
