Charlynn Savage

Charlynn Savage, 60, of Goshen, died late Friday night, June 22, 2007, at Courtyard Healthcare Center, Goshen.  She was born on January 9, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Lynn and Charlotte (Matnzer) Dodd.  On March 13, 1982, she married James Savage, Sr., in Bensalem, Pennyslvania.  He survives.   A homemaker and a licensed nurse, Mrs. Savage, had lived in Goshen only one year, coming from Warminster, Pennsylvania.  She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Goshen, and St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Warminster, Pennsylvania.   She is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Janet (Robert) Hudson of Levittown, Pennsylvanian, and Heather (Michael) Savage-Maierle of Goshen, Indiana; a son, Howard Savage of Coal Township, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; and a brother, Michael Dodd of Maryland.   She was preceded in death by her parents.   Memorial services will be held at a later date in Goshen at the St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and in Warminster at the St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church.   Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be given to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church for missions.
