Charlotte “Petie” Lantz, 86, of Goshen, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020, at home after a short illness.
She was born December 7, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to Harold and Frances (Amann) Rider.
On August 31, 1963 she married Harlan “Chic” Lantz in Goshen. He died March 21,2015.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra Brown of Goshen; three grandchildren, Wayne Lambert, Cynthia (Steve) Miller and Stephanie (Jerry Nettrouer II) Guild; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Rider and a son-in-law, Joe Brown.
A 1951 graduate of Goshen High School, Petie worked as a loan officer at Salem Bank and then Key Bank and assisted in Chic Interiors. Petie was a member of the Credit Women’s group and the Goshen Jayshees. She was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Bowler’s Hall of Fame.
She enjoyed taking her grandchildren on golf cart rides.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2020, at Violett Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Elkhart County Humane Society.
