Charles D. Yoder, 80, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Courtyard Healthcare.
He was born December 15, 1937 in Goshen to William M. and Alma (Kaufman) Yoder.
On December 15, 1962 he married Judith Ann Marlow in Greensburg.
She survives along with two children, Chuck Yoder of Goshen and Shelley (Deb Wolfe) Yoder of Fishers; two granddaughters, Kayla Renee and Alicia Nicole; a great-granddaughter, Leighton Olivia; a brother, M. Marion (Wanda) Yoder of Goshen and two sisters, Alice A. (Dennis) Risser and Nancy L. (Cloyce) Nofziger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Phillip Yoder and two brothers, John W. and Frederick Yoder.
A lifetime Goshen resident, Mr. Yoder attended Middlebury High School and Bethany High School, where he graduated in 1956. He worked at Goshen Stamping, in security at Goshen College, delivered RVs and drove shuttle cab for Norfolk Southern.
A member of North Goshen Mennonite Church, Chuck enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
Friends may call Wednesday, July 18, 2018, from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Thursday funeral service at North Goshen Mennonite Church. Pastor Mark Schloneger will officiate.
Burial will follow at Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Memorial contributions may be given to North Goshen Mennonite Church or Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
