Charles "Chuck" Adams, 67, of Goshen, died Friday evening, September 20, 2013, at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital, following an extended illness. He was born November 4, 1945 in Albion, Michigan, to Bruce and Dorothy M. (Hughes) Adams. On October 3, 1992, he married Brenda (Brovont) Flora, in Goshen. She survives along with a daughter, Susan Adams, of Millersburg; a son, Michael Adams, of Syracuse; a step-son, Tony (Daphne) Flora, of Huntington; four grandchildren, Katie Brenneman, Quinton Flora, Alex Miller, and Samantha Miller; two great-grandchildren, Kasen and Kody; two sisters, Sharon Fox, of Keller, Texas, and Brenda Wollet, of Jackson, Michigan; and two sister-in-laws, Linda (Duane) Geiser, of New Paris, and Nancy (Everett) Oyler, of Wakarusa. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Pam; and a step-son, Scott Flora. Mr. Adams was an area resident since 1987. He was a machine operator and programmer at Romotec for 20 years. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of the local V.F.W., D.A.V., American Legion, and Elks Lodge. Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Pastor Jeff Estep, of First Brethren Church of New Paris, will officiate. Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to I.U. Goshen Cancer Center, or Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
