Chad A. Newcomer

Chad A. Newcomer, 42, of Nappanee, passed away Saturday evening, July 25, 2015, at Elkhart General Hospital after a year and a half battle with cancer. He was born in Goshen on October 15, 1972 to Donald and Karla (Fowler) Newcomer. On November 13, 1992 he married Shelly Price in Goshen. She survives along with a daughter, Samantha, at home; his mother, Karla Newcomer of Goshen; and a sister, Kara Newcomer of Woodbridge, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father. A lifetime area resident, Chad was a member of the Michiana Jeep Club and the National Rifle Association. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015,from 3 to 7 p.m. at Maple City Chapel, 2015 Lincolnway East, Goshen. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Samantha's Education Fund at Chase Bank or United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
