Cecelia "Cil" A. Horn, 63, of Goshen passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at University Hospital, Indianapolis from a brief illness.
She was born August 13, 1957 in McArthur, Ohio to Frank and Ellen (Grounds) Shiltz. On November 22, 1974, she married James Horn in Albany, Ohio.
He survives, along with daughters, Jenifer (Greg) Murray of Elizabeth, West Virginia, Christina Horn of Goshen, and Monica (Marc) Lambert of Elkhart; son, Jeffery (Kutrena) Horn of Goshen; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Keith (Sharon) Shiltz of LaGrange and Everett Shiltz of California; and a sister, Sherry McKinney of Ohio.
Cecelia was preceded in death by a son, James Franklin Horn, her parents, and a brother, Johnny Shiltz.
Mrs. Horn worked for 28 years at Greencroft in the Food Services Department. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians baseball and going camping, and she especially loved spending time with her family. Cil regularly attended Faith Christian Center Church, Goshen.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 1 to 5 p.m., at Yoder-Culp
Funeral Home, Goshen. The funeral service will be Monday, August 24, 2020 at 1 p.m., also
at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Kenneth Rogers, Faith Christian Center will
officiate.
Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Currently we are following the social distancing guidelines and mandate of the Elkhart County Health Officer, requiring masks to be worn inside of the building.
