Catherine “Katie”  Elaine Yoder, 77, of Elkhart and formerly of Millersburg, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, at Harmony Assisted Living.

She was born July 8, 1946 in Goshen to Cyril K. and Pauline A. (Fretz) Gorsuch.

On January 9, 1966 she married Delbert L. Yoder, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.  He died September 1, 2013.

Survivors include her puppy dog, Lucy; a sister, Esther Grafton of Ocala, Florida; a brother, Warren (Lora) Gorsuch of Goshen; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Cross and Arleta Kilmer, both of Goshen and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Jean, David and Ralph Gorsuch.

Mrs. Yoder retired from the painting department at Starcraft in 2017 after 50 years.  A lover of anything teddy bears, she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, reading and playing cards.  She was a wonderful cook.

Visitation will be Monday, September 11, 2023, from 6 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the service and burial will be at a later date in Benton Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Humane Society of Elkhart County.
