Cassandra C Hochstetler

Cassandra C. Hochstetler, 21, of Goshen, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at home.

She was born December 23, 1996 in St. Joseph County.

She is survived by her loving husband, her best friend, the love of her life, Donovan Hochstetler; her parents, Shaun Custard and Billie Jo Rippey; sisters, Carissa, Shauna and Kyra; grandparents, Tim and Joann Rippey, Corina “Oma” and Kerry “Paw Paw” DeMaegd; Karen (Warren) Squadroni and her loving family; great-grandmothers, Margaret DeMaegd, Clara Custard (Mike, Randy, Amber, Kaylee, Taylor, Vinny and Jessica); loving uncles and aunts, Larry (Marty) DeMaegd, Ray (Jackie) DeMaegd, Kenny (Mary) DeMaegd, Ethan DeMaegd, Susan Perkins and Nancy DeMaegd; favorite cousins, Tim, Doug and A.J. Zick and loving in-laws, Zebulon, Shekinah and Sean Hochstetler.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Raymond DeMaegd and her favorite uncle Stevie DeMaegd.

She enjoyed reading, writing, poetry, music, nature, friends, but mostly family.  She embraced her Pagan Wicca ways.  Cassandra’s piercings and tattoos told her story of her beautiful journey of love, life and struggle.

Casandra will be deeply missed by many; gone way too son.  But her soul is now set free to follow the land of eternal summer, grassy fields and sweet rivers she loved so very much.

Memorials may be given to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
