Caryl J. Wogoman

Caryl J. Wogoman, 83, of Goshen died Friday, February 19, 2016 at Greencroft Healthcare on her late husband’s birthday.

She was born November 26, 1932 in South Bend, to G. Earl and Myrtle (Leek) Miller. She spent all of her adult life in Goshen.

On June 12, 1953 Caryl married Wayne L. Wogoman in Goshen. He died December 27, 2013.

She is survived by her three children; Karen (Joseph) Holt of Stafford, Virginia, Margie (David) Zentz of Goshen and Douglas (Wendy) Wogoman of Middlebury; seven grandchildren, Bailey (Kevin) Davis, Kelsey (John) Hawkins, Geoff (Jen) Zentz, Sara (Jeff) Yambert, Taylor (Ariel) Wogoman, Cole Wogoman and Jaime Wogoman; one great-grandson, Cooper Davis; and a sister, Barbara Slough of Goshen.

Caryl was a 1950 graduate of LaPorte High School. She worked for a while in Goshen as a legal secretary, but most of her time was spent as a mother and homemaker. She belonged to the Jefferson Community Church where she served as a deaconess, directed the choir, and taught Bible study.

Friends may call on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the 11:00 am memorial service on Saturday, February 27, 2016 all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Vickie Oldenburg will officiate.

A private graveside service will take place on Saturday at Violett Cemetery prior to the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greencroft.
