Carolyn J. Yoder, 80, of Goshen, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021, at The Maples.

She was born March 25, 1940 in Goshen to Amos David and Fern (Leinbach) Yontz.

On October 7, 1961 she married Elmer J. Yoder at Benton Mennonite Church.

He survives along with three children, Kaylene (Alan) Ediger of Goshen, Janeen (Rick Ryll) Chrispyn of Edwardsburg, Michigan and Brian (Kathy) Yoder of Goshen; two grandchildren, Erin Chrispyn and Lucas Ediger; and a brother, Rick (Mary) Yontz, of Goshen.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Weston Ediger and a brother, Larry Yontz.

A prayer warrior, Mrs. Yoder was a member of Sunnyside Mennonite Church.  She enjoyed gardening.

She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband’s business.

A private memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 19 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorial donations may be given to Sunnyside Mennonite Church, Weston Ediger Memorial Fund or ADEC.
