Carolyn I. Welch

Carolyn Welch, 71 of Nappanee, died Saturday, July 20, 2019 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing in Goshen.

She was born August 19, 1947 in Yoder, Kansas to Emmanuel and Susan (Hershberger) Chupp.

Survivors include four sons, Robert (Angie) Scott, Ronnie (Donna) Scott and Michael (Betty) Welch, all of Goshen, and Melvin (Jamie) Welch of Avon; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Melvin (Loretta) Chupp of Nappanee.

Along with parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Welch; two sisters, Janet Yoder and Ruby Charles; and a brother, Paul Chupp.

Carolyn attended Grace Community Church and was a clerk at Princess Laundromat. She enjoyed her family, bowling, coloring, and listening to Elvis music.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 20076 C.R. 36, Goshen, with visitation beginning at 2 p.m.  Pastor Jim Brown will officiate.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory, Goshen.
