Carolyn Marie Waltz

Carolyn Marie Waltz, 54, died suddenly at her home Thursday evening, April 25, 2013. She was born September 7, 1948 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to William James and Mary Lucille (Hoag) Shook. She is survived by her longtime companion, Jacob Folker of Goshen; two sisters, Susan (Ed) Ferguson of Leland, North Carolina and Mary Margaret (Fred) Washington of Valdosta, Georgia; and three brothers, Mark Ryan Shook of Howard City, Michigan, William James (Tina) Shook, Jr. of Blanchard, Michigan and Frank Shook of Washington D.C. A Goshen resident since 1976, Carolyn graduated from Newaygo High School in Newaygo, Michigan. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
