Carolyn Turner, 70, of Goshen, passed away, Monday, January 3, 2022, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born January 27, 1951, in Forest, Louisiana, to William “Clyde” and Delia Ann (Stanley) Bowen.
On June 25, 1982, she married Joel S. Turner, I, in Goshen.
Joel survives along with three children, Sherry A. (Todd) Hill, Barry William (Rhonda Heyman) Weldy and Joel S. Turner, II, all of Goshen; three grandchildren, Todd Lee, Ricky (Tiffany) Lee and Brandon Lee Hill; a great-granddaughter, Faith Hill; a niece, Melissa (Robert) Coy of Syracuse and three siblings, Phyllis (Pete) Vaughn, Clark Bowen and Douglas Bowen, all of Mississippi.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Clydean Lewallen and Lou Ann Hemphill.
The hardest working woman ever, who was still employed at Goshen Die Cutting after many years. Carolyn had a heart of gold and was loved by all her family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her great-granddaughter, Faith.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Brad Price, Goshen Church of Christ, will officiate.
Per her wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service.
Memorial donations may be given to Shriners Children’s Hospitals or Cancer Resources for Elkhart County.
