Carolyn Grace Riegsecker, 57, of Goshen, died at her home early Monday morning, May 14, 2007, after a battle with cancer. She was born on July 8, 1949, in Wooster, Ohio, to Herman and Martha (Steiner) Geiser. She married Larry Riegsecker on August 2, 1975, at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church in North Lawrence, Ohio. He survives. A 1967 graduate of Dalton High School in Ohio and a 1971 graduate of Wayne Practical Nursing Program in Smithville, Ohio. After moving to Goshen in 1978, Mrs. Riegsecker worked as a LPN for Dr. Krause in Dunlap for 15 years. A member of the Granger Community Church, she was on the prayer team and First Impressions. She volunteered at Goshen General Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Larry; two sons, Timothy J. (Emily) Riegsecker of Goshen, and Justin D. (Rebecca) Riegsecker of Lee, Florida; three grandchildren, Wesley Jon, Jaydon Michael and Amelia Grace Riegsecker; a sister, Dorothy (Charles) Swysgood of Yuma, Arizona; and two brothers, Kenneth Geiser of Wooster, Ohio, and Larry (Shirley) Geiser of Kidron, Ohio. Friends will be received 4 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, May 15 and 16, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2007, will be conducted at Zion Chapel, Goshen. Rev. Ed Villalba and Rev. Wesley Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Goshen.
