Carolyn E. Jones, 58, of Bristol, died at her home early Tuesday afternoon, November 27, 2012, after a three week illness. She was born in Bremen July 15, 1954 to Reuben and Lydia (Burkholder) Miller. She married J.L. "Casey" Jones September 1983 at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church. He survives along with her mother, Lydia Miller of Nappanee; a stepdaughter, Tammy (Tim) Rock of Nappanee; a stepson, Rusty (Alicia) Jones of Elkhart; five step grandchildren; a sister, Cheryl (Lee) Bontrager of Nappanee; a brother, Jerry Miller of Nappanee; a niece, Yvonne (Keith) Pasqualone of Elkhart; and two great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. An avid reader, she loved walking on the beach. Mrs. Jones worked in shipping at Bentler Automotive and was a member of Elijah's Fire International Church. In keeping with Carolyn's wishes, her body will be cremated. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m., Monday, December 3, memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Karin Baker, Elijah's Fire International Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Yellow Creek Mennonite Cemetery, Goshen.
