Carolyn Mullett Chenoweth

Carolyn Chenoweth, 97, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday evening at St., Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born Aug. 21, 1915 in Nappanee to Levi "Lee" V. and Mary Maude (Yoder) Mullett. She married Gene Victor Chenoweth May 31, 1942. He died June 6, 2005. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy of Bedford; two sons, Peter Chenoweth of Indianapolis and Steve Chenoweth of Dayton; and a sister, Josephine (Kirby) Alexander of Kokomo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; two brothers, Gerald "Bud" and John Mullett; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Scelzo. A resident of Indianapolis since 1948, Mrs. Chenoweth worked as a secretary for many years for W.R. Frew Company, Inc. A private family graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at South Union Cemetery, Nappanee. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
