Carole J. Hill, 82, of Goshen died Monday, September 2, 2024 at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born February 5, 1942 in Goshen to Ralph and Mary (Bechtel) Brown.
She is survived by daughters, Ronda (Mike) Mills of Goshen and Carla Carmon of Mishawaka; son, Troy (Carol) Hill of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Miriam (Rick) Tenorio of Griffith; and a brother, Richard (Karen) Brown of Elkhart.
Along with her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Ronald Hill, and a sister, Connie Dunsizer.
A member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Carole work for many years at JCPenney in the men’s wear department.
Carole was a 30 year liver transplant survivor. She loved life and took advantage of anyone willing to take her on a motorcycle ride. She was a loving mother and grandmother, known as “crazy granny” to her family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 10, from 10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
