Carol Elizabeth Schaaf, 83, of Goshen, died Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Majestic Healthcare.

She was born June 7, 1940 in Goshen to Willis and Elizabeth (Chupp) Yoder.

She is survived by four children, Jenny and Jimmy Kline both of Kansas, Michelle (Nate) Mast, Goshen and Linda Minns, Elkhart; 16 grandchildren, Natalie, Jason, Joshua, Crystal, Phillip, Tyler, Roseanna, Trevor, Heaven, Shyanne, Christopher, Ashley, Anthony, Sierra, Josh, and Tiffany; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Floyd Schaaf, Jr. and Ricky Schaaf; a granddaughter, Katie; a great-grandson, Benny; and a brother Jim Yoder.

Carol graduated from Bethany Christian School in 1960. She enjoyed puzzles, books, bingo, drinking Dunkin Donuts coffee. She loved to spend time with her family and was lovingly referred to as “MawMaw” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 2024 from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service. Pastor Larry Burkhart will officiate.

Burial will follow at Clinton Union Cemetery.

Memorial contribution can be directed to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
