Carol Ann Mcclanahan

Carol Ann McClanahan, 61, of Shipshewana, died early Friday afternoon, June 6, 2008, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, on June 16, 1946, to the late John and Catherine (Leonard) Blotzer.  She married Mark “Les” McClanahan in Oakland, Maryland on August 17, 1987.  He survives. A homemaker, Mrs. McClanahan graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic High School in 1964.  She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, camping and other outdoor activities, and Elvis Presley and oldies music. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Timothy) Johnson of Middlebury, and Linda Lint of Everson, Pennsylvania; two sons, Jeffrey Greece of Scottdale, Pennsylvania and Michael (Norma) Greece of Elkhart; two step-sons, 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, John Blotzer of Greensburg, Pennsylvania and close friend, Margaret Jean Ponick of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 9, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. A 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gracelawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Middlebury.
