December 15, 1940 — April 1, 2012

Carol S. Mann, 71, of Goshen, died at her home early Sunday morning, April 1, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. She was born December15, 1940, in Kouts to the late Ralph O. and Lila (Martin) Miller. She married Richard Mann at Prairie Street Mennonite Church, Elkhart, on October 4, 1959. He preceded her in death July 7, 1993. She is survived by a daughter, Terri (Rodney) Masters of Millersburg; a son, Ritchie Mann of Goshen; two grandchildren, Stefanie and Ricky Masters; two sisters, Shirlee (Dean) Lambright of Jacksonville, Florida, Jean (Stan) Shriner of Bristol; and two brothers, Gerald E. Miller of Sarasota, Florida, and David R. Miller of Jacksonville, Florida. A 1958 graduate of Jefferson High School, she retired after 25 years as the mailroom coordinator from Mennonite Mission Network, formerly Mennonite Board of Missions. She was a member of College Mennonite Church and "The Classy Ladies". She enjoyed wintering in Siesta Key, Florida, walking, reading, doing Sudoku puzzles, and baking/cooking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends may call 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2012, in the Koinonia Room at College Mennonite Church prior to a 6 p.m., memorial service. The service will include music by the Shalom Ringers with her son, Ritchie. Pastors Pamela Yoder and Phil Waite will officiate. A private burial will be at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart. Memorial contributions may be made to ADEC, Goshen Cancer Center or College Mennonite Church.
