Carl E. Witmer

Carl E. Witmer, 57, of Goshen, died suddenly Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born November 30, 1960 in Goshen to Anson and Fern (Weaver) Witmer.

On June 26, 1982 he married Vicki Leinbach in Wakarusa.

She survives along with seven children, Eric (Anne) Witmer of Maricopa, Arizona, Cory (Amanda) Witmer of Goshen, Dustin (Ashley) Witmer of Elkhart and Alaina, Alexis, Spencer and Stuart Witmer, all at home; nine  grandchildren, Kylie, Anson, Elijah, Lucas, Abigail, Braxton, Blaine, Briggs and Sophia; and four siblings, Don (Seri) Witmer and Marvin (Deb) Witmer, both of Wakarusa and Devon (Raymonde) Witmer and Betty (Dennis) Weldy, both of Goshen.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry.

A great dad, he loved his family fiercely.  He was an amazing craftsman and involved with Elkhart County 4-H Lamb Club.  He was a member of Harvest Community Church and loved Jesus with his whole heart.

He worked as a production manager at Global Building Products.

Friends may call Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Harvest Community Church, 17285 C.R. 34, Goshen.  Pastors Jeremy Gwaltney and Jim Dreier will officiate at the 12, noon, memorial service at the church.

A private burial will precede the service at Violett Cemetery.
