Carl C. Strahm

Carl C. Strahm, 84, of Goshen, died early Monday morning, June 11, 2007, at his home.  He had been in failing health. He was born in Kenton, Ohio, on April 19, 1923, to Christian and Florence (Stephenson) Strahm.  He married Goldie Clark in Goshen on February 13, 1949.  She survives.  He graduated from Ridgeway High School in 1941.   A 60 year resident of Goshen, Mr. Strahm worked for NIBCO in Elkhart, retiring in 1988.   He is survived by his wife, Goldie; a son, Charles (Sherri) Strahm of Goshen; a granddaughter, Sherri Strahm of Indianapolis; a sister, Dorothy (Richard) VanBuskirk of Bellefontaine, Ohio and a brother, Phillip Strahm of Auburn, Indiana.   Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 14, 2007, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Laura Meier of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Goshen, will officiate.   Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
