Carl Bradley Steagall, 55, of Azle, Texas, passed from this life unexpectedly on April 24, 2016, due to heart failure while on a business trip in Indiana.
He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 10, 1960 and spent his early childhood in southern California. About the time he entered his teens, the family moved to Lebanon, Tennessee where Carl lived a bucolic life on the family farm near Nashville. In his senior year he moved to Texas to live with his father.
He was a graduate of Aledo High School in Aledo, Texas and later studied at Texas Tech and Del Mar College before returning to California to pursue a career in restaurant management. Throughout his career, Carl supervised management of restaurants in the Los Angeles area as well as Roseville, Sacramento, Granbury and Fort Worth.
In recent years he had made his home on the family ranch near Fort Worth, Texas. Carl will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Carl Steagall is survived by his mother, Barbara Lee Hobbs of Grass Valley, California, father Russell 'Red' Steagall and wife Gail of Azle, Texas, older brother Michael K. Stitzel of Mt. View, California, younger brother Steven A. Steagall and wife Deborah of Bakersfield, California, younger sisters Vivian Stitzel of Los Angeles, California and Nichole Stitzel of Miami, Florida, plus nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins in California, Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas.
