Carl Edward Hudelson, 85, of Goshen, died Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his home.

He was born December 2, 1937 in New Castle to Charles Milton and Verna Opal (Bunch) Hudelson.

On July 19, 1959 he married Margaret I. Warren in Spiceland. She died March 3, 2019.

Survivors include three daughters, Penny (Darrick) Huston, Wolcottville, Heidi (Randy) Helblig, Ligonier and Catherine (Patrick) Kinkade, Goshen; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Stan and a sister Margaret.

Carl served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963. He was a welder at Tenneco Automotive and worked at New Castle Homes. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and liked to attend live auctions.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 9 until the 10 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Tyler will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be directed to Center for Hospice Care.
