Carl E. Ferguson

Carl E. Ferguson, 81, of Goshen, passed away early Sunday morning, June 8, 2014, at Greencroft Health Care. He was born November 3, 1932 in Wakarusa to Dorvin and Edna (Shank) Ferguson. On May 16, 1954 he married Merry Rapp at the Dunlap United Methodist Church. She survives along with four children, Karen (Steve) O'Dell of Bristol and Julie (Mark) Blake and Sherrie (Kevin) Kropf, both of Goshen, and Gary (Pam) Rapp of Elkhart; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a brother, Richard (Doris) Ferguson of Bremen. He was preceded in death by his parents. A lifelong area resident, Mr. Ferguson was an avid camper and fisherman and he enjoyed working in his yard. He was a longtime member of Dunlap United Methodist Church and retired from Duplex Products. He also drove school bus for Concord Schools. Friend may call 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 11 a.m., Thursday, June 12, funeral service at Dunlap United Methodist Church. Dr. Joseph Smith and Rev. William Rapp, brother-in-law, will officiate. Cremation will follow the service and burial will be at a later date in Violett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Music Department at Dunlap United Methodist Church.
