Carl Patrick Dintaman, 72, of Goshen, died Friday, October 19, 2018, at Green House Village.
He was born June 3, 1946 in Sturgis, Michigan to Carl E. and Salina (Christner) Dintaman.
On August 2, 1998 he married Darlene (Martin) Hochstetler in Goshen.
She survives along with her children, Dawn (Dave) Weaver of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Rhonda Martin of Osseo, Minnesota and Ryan (Anne Thiel) Hochstetler of Goshen; two grandchildren, Darton and Melia Weaver; three sisters, Phyllis Stutzman and Carol (Vernon) Birky, both of Goshen and Pamela Dintaman of Cascabel, Arizona and two brothers, Phillip (Judy) Dintaman of Howe and Stephen (Elizabeth) Dintaman of Harrisonburg, Virginia.
A 1964 graduate of Shipshewana-Scott High School, Carl went on to earn an associate’s degree in accounting from International Business College in Fort Wayne. He did his 1-W service in Denver Colorado.
A member of Belmont Mennonite Church, Carl enjoyed biking, playing tennis and landscaping.
Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 11 a.m. memorial service will be conducted Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Belmont Mennonite Church. Pastor Larry Rohrer will officiate.
Memorials may be given to Mennonite Central Committee or Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
