Candido Negron Rivera

Candido Negron Rivera, 82, of Elkhart, died Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Courtyard Healthcare.
He was born July 14, 1935 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Candido Negron Serrano and Emma Rivera Rios.
In 1978 he married Miriam Torres in Puerto Rico. She died June 1, 2016.
Survivors include four sons, Alberto, Juan "Charlie" Carlos, Marcos and Luis Negron; two daughters, Janice and Monica Negron; a brother, Luis Negron; a sister, Nora Franceschi; and nieces, Norie Cripps and Frances (Ben) Baccus, both of Elkhart.
Mr. Negron taught economics in several colleges around the world.
Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory and his remains will be returned to Puerto Rico.
