Bryan L. Farmwald, 53, of Angola and formerly of Goshen, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne from brain cancer. Bryan was born in Goshen, September 24, 1962 the son of Donald and Charlene (Weaver) Farmwald. His mother passed away six months ago and was surely the first to greet him with joy at the gates of heaven. He is survived by his father, Donald Farmwald of Goshen; three sisters, Susan (Darryl) Begay of Pittsboro, Kendra Sanders of Goshen and Janelle (Wes) Herschberger of Millersburg; five nephews, Derek, Ryan and Drew Sanders, Adam Herschberger and Matthew Begay; and two nieces, Holly Herschberger and Haley Begay. He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Alvin and Martha Farmwald and Otis and Etta Weaver; and a nephew, Andrew Begay. Special thanks and love go out to the devoted caregivers - current and past-at Bryan's group home in Angola, who loved and cared for him around the clock for many years. They, along with Bryan's father and sisters, were at his bedside when he passed away. Friends may call Friday, October 23, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, 61115 State Road 15, Goshen. A luncheon will follow the service. A private burial will take place at Yellow Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Bryan L. Farmwald Memorial Fund which will be designated to the Shire Street Group Home.
