Bruce A. Purvis

Bruce A. Purvis, 62, of Goshen, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021, at Goshen Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born June 2, 1958 in New Castle to Thomas and Beverly Purvis.

On December 17, 1983, he married Crystal Pierce in New Castle.

She survives along with two children, Amanda Birdsall (fiancé, Jarrod Moninger) and Thomas Purvis; two grandchildren, Austin Prince and Bruce Purvis, all of Goshen; a sister-in-law, Melony (Chris) Bennett; a brother-in-law, Terry Maloyed; and nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a committed dad and a super hero papaw.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 4 from 5 p.m. until the memorial service at 6 p.m.
